The Cairn Terrier’s head is broad, the brow angle is obvious, and it is connected with a healthy muzzle. The ears are small and erect, with a wide distance between them. The tail is well proportioned to the head and has plenty of hair, but is not feathered. The tail is carried happily, but not rolled over the back. The base of the tail is flush with the plane of the back.
